So far this Fall – three adult classes have been cancelled…. Block Printing: Linoleum Cut,   Introduction to Sumi-e,  and Introduction to Mandalas.  Difficult financial times for all…

I am teaching three art classes at ORLA [Olympia Regional Learning Academy] which is housed in the old Rogers Elementary School.  Home schooled children come to physically take classes or work online to meet state requirements. I am teaching Intro to Acrylics to 9-12 grade and a second class for 6-8th grade on Tuesdays and on Wednesday a multi media class to 6-8th graders.

Arts to Remember is a six week art program sponsored by the South Sound Alzheimer’s Council. I met once a week for an hour to facilitate an art project.  Finished products from each venue/artist collaboration are matted and put on display during either the spring or fall Olympia Arts Walk.  My project with the two groups I’m working with is a collage. we build up each week a different layer: watercolor, tissue paper, stencil, markers, words and extraneous details.
