The Annual Family Art Exhibit at Enso Center for International Arts in Redmond, WA  will be held this year on first weekend in Nov, I’ll be sending cards and maybe some small 8″HX3″W Sumi-e placards. Haven’t worked out the design yet… basically a long sumi-e painting mimicking a scroll mounted on card stock. I have really nice envelops for them and plastic sleeves.     www.ensocenter.org

Submitted to: Juried Art Show and Art Sale at the Olympia Armory POSSCA (Patrons of South Sound Cultural Arts) and Friends of the Olympia Library (FOL) are once again hosting a Juried Art Show and Art Sale at the Olympia Armory, November 10 & 11, 2012. We are currently looking for artists to participate.

Jury: Artists who did not participate in last year’s show must first submit three pictures of their work to the jury.

Note I was rejected last year which I couldn’t believe… no reason was given.

Recognition of patterns and shapes can profoundly affect how we see ourselves in relation to each other and the world in which we live, to embrace ideas that unite us, not divide us.

Visit our website http://tubacarts.org/for-artists/prospectuses for a full prospectus and information on how to apply. For questions or assistance, please contact Karon Leigh at 520-398-2371  or KaronLeigh@TubacArts.org.

October Group Show, Ouija Board Themed  [I’ve been acepted for this exhibit. I’ll be mailing mixed media/collage minis 7″X5″ for a small group display]

Krab Jab Studio is hosting a group show in October, with the theme being the Ouija, or Talking Board. Art can be an artist’s interpretation of a board, or art inspired by the Ouija board. We accept digital art (in form of ready to hang giclee/high quality print), 2D and some 3D (check with us on that).

Confirmation deadline is Sept 1st, 2012, and the drop-off/mail-in deadline is October 1st. Opening/Halloween party is October 13, 2012 and the show runs through the first week of November. Sales commission is 20%.

If you would like to participate, please email us a confirmation by the date listed (earlier is better). At this time we’d like to keep the art limited to one-two pieces per artist, unless otherwise agreed upon.

Any questions, send them my way! For more info on boards, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ouija. Visit the online Ouija Museum at http://www.museumoftalkingboards.com/ to get inspired!
