During February I made lots of prints and adhered them onto blank card stock – 7 to 10 copies of the each block print design.
need a drying rack – so afraid Mitts Z is going to curl up on them…
and there’s more
just ignore the fact that I didn’t grout the counter in the dining area
the sun was bright between mini showers that day. it is such a pleasure to work in the dining area with all that natural light!
after teaching the next morning and making lunch I was back at the ink brayer…
and…
altogether printed 100+ block prints in two days in between teaching…
Took a lot of time adhering them onto the card stock.
My art buddy, Joanne, kindly printed the labels that I put on the back of the cards for me. My printer has decided it has a permanent paper jam.
also made another floral block print…
this is a proof. still need to clean up the edges a bit. thinking Spring! I have a drawing transferred for a day lily and I might make a lily of the valley block print. I have to work on that image design a little more before I transfer it. I might hand color the daffodils.
Brought the blank note cards with the block prints up to The Gallery, Bainbridge Arts & Crafts, 151 Winslow Way East, Bainbridge Island, WA http://www.bacart.org
keep arting…
